AUCKLAND CLUB. STEWARDS AND COMMITTEE. AUCKLAND, Thursday. Nominations for eight stewards and seven members of the committee of the Auckland Trotting Club closed yesterday, Mr B. Grayson, one of the retiring stewards, did not seek recloction, but the other seven have all been nominated, and ihere are three other aspirants. There will also be a conlost for the seven seats on the committee, the nominees being the retiring members and live others. The. ballot will close on August 19, the day of the annual meeting. Following are entails of the nominations: — Slewards (eight vacancies): Messrs A. J. Court, S. 11. Davenport, F. C. Duvall, W. W. Massey, G. Macfarquhar, J. W. Russell, K. Rutherford (retiring members), W. F. Allen, A. E. Murphy, G. A. McKendrick. Committee (seven vacancies). —J. McColl, C. J. Schnauer, G. E. Tansley, A. Twlname, T. E. N. Wade, A. E. Watkins, W. C. Watts (retiring members), G. Hodgson, C. C. Mark, G. A. McKendrick, D. R. Revell, and R. Wright.
