CANON J. N. DALTON. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. (Received July 29, 11.30 a.m.) , LONDON, July 28. ' The death has occurred'of Rev* John Neale Dalton, (Canon and| Steward of St. George’s Church* Windsor, and Deputy Clerk of thq Closet and Domestic Chaplain to Ihg King; aged 92.
Rev. J. N. Dalton was borg, in Kent in 1839, and after qj brilliant scholastic career, was ap-« pointed curate of St. Edmond’s, Gann, bridge in 1860, a position lie held three years when lie was appointed icj[ Whippingham. From 1871 till 1879 hq was tutor to Prince Albert Victor and Prince George of Wales. He. wag chaplan on 11.M.5. Bacchante 1879-82, He has also occupied the following* positions: Chaplain in ordinary anqj Deputy -Clerk of the Closet lo Queeit Victoria and King Edward VII.; lion* chaplain lo Hie Duke of York, and tq the Prince of Wales.
