DRIVER BESIDE HIS CAR. lIIS POCKETS RIFLED. (By Telegraph. rress Association.) NELSON, Monday. Between 2 and 3 o'clock tills morning Mr Richard Rawson, a taxi-driver, was found unconscious on the road alongside iiis car. The driver’s pockets were rilled, and iiis empty wallet was on the road beside him. The engine of (he ear wfls shut off, but the lights were full on. The driver was admitted lo the hospital suffering from concussion and a heavy bruise on the temple. ■The hospital authorities reported a slight improvement in ids condition ibis afternoon.
