HAMILTON PEACE CUP TEAM.
(To the Editor.) Sir.—Very shortly, the team ' ■will he selected to defend the Peace Cop for Hamilton against -some solid challenges from other unions, and l would like to suggest a team, which in my opinion is the host available at present in our competitions. The following is the team: Fullback. Skrel; ■three-quarters, Hook, \J-'il: j' erald. Grifllths; five-eighths, Ileml, (idling; half. L. Den/.: hookers. Douglas and Bonham; lock, Reynolds; sides, T. Cassidy and Robinson; hack row, Priseolt and Stewart; rover, 'Malcolm. Emergencies: Racks, Poller and \V. Cassidy; forwards, Weatherley and Bruce. My reason for playing Hem! llve-eighlhs is that he is a good straight runner and tackles well: also that is the position he always played in before he came to Hamilton, and we have two better wingers in Hook and (irithths, though llie latter does not' get many opportunities in his cl l / games; he, however, makes the most of what comes his way, and is without a doubt, the fastest winger in Ihe Waikato, also a good defender. In (lie event of injury and replacements most of (lie backs can play In any position, and there is also an extra hooker in Priscotl in the forwards.— I am, etc,, KEEN RUGBY ENTHUSIAST. Frank ton, July 9, I'JJI.
