SURPRISE PARTY,

AT MATANQI. i A surprise party visited the residence of Mr and Mrs R. Cranston on Tuesday evening, and a jolly time was spent. The evening went all too quickly with music, games, and dancing. (Mrs Cranston was the recipient of a birthday gift, which was handed over with the good wishes of her friends. The evening was brought to a close with the singing of “For She’s a Jolly Good Fellow," and “Auld Lang Syne.” ____________
