APPEAL TO PARTY LEADERS.

AUCKLAND, Friday,
As part of a Dominion-wld4 movement aiming at the formation of a National Government, a number of prominent and professional business men In Auckland have signed a memorandum which Is being sent to the Premier and Mr J. G. Coates.
The memorandum declares that a national party inclusive of all political sections, Is absolutely essential and sooner or later Inevitable; that the possibilities of the formation of such a party should bo explorod In a conference between all parties, because of the existing national emergency which threatens to become more acute; further, publio opinion, should be made so strong that no one would be encouraged to defend the Interests of any existing party.
