N.Z. SPORTING REVIEW.
The wieft range of topical Illustrations to be found in this week’s issue of the New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic Review adds much to tire interest and attraction of this journal. The defeat of Essex by the New Zealand Cricket team is recorded in a fine descriptive series, and another fine sporting page depicts characteristic poses of the world’s I'oreinost heavy-weight boxers. A fine pictorial souvenir of the June race meeting at Ellerslic is the coloured supplement of the Winter Steeplechase and in addition two pages are ■reserved for the fashion display on the lawns at Kllerslic. The prize winners at the Christchurch Musical and Elocutionary Competitions And places in the double centre pages. Two fascinating pages of striking snaps of the Wellington Amateurs’ production of “Tutankhamen," will he much enjoyed. Mention must also lie made of a page of lovely fashions, another of humour and a series of beautiful brides. Interesting racing at Tc Rapa ami the last day of the June meeting, will supply the necessary interest for those who follow the sport of kings. The overseas section is well packed with attractive subjects.
