FIVE SHILLING TOTALISATOR. AUCKLAND CLUB PROPOSAL. ADMISSION CHARGE REDUCTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. A proposal lo instal a five shilling totalisator and reduce the admission charge to the course to one shilling is to be considered by the Auckland Trotting Club Committee. The proposal is sponsored by the president, Mr J. Rowe, and is expected to receive strong support. Mr Rowe considers that in the prevailing circumstances the war-time tax which caused admission charges to he increased by sixpence should he removed.
