FORGERY BY SALESMAN.
A CHEQUE ALTERED. SIX' MONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Roderick Gordon Stammers, aged 37 years, a salesman, for forgery, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment.
He altered a cheque from £2 to £l2.
The probation officer’s report was tad, said the Crown.
