Miss Budd, of Balfour, M. Irvine and Webster, Lid., supplies the following observations of the weather: — Barometer. Thursday .... 30.15 Friday 30.05 Thermometer. Max. Min. Wednesday 56.0 40.0 Thursday 56.0 43.0 Barometer, 30.05, with a falling- tendency. Continued unsettled weather is indicated to-day and possibly to-morrow, fair at intervals, heavy showers, northerly winds,, lower temperature. Decimal 26 point of rain fell during the previous 24 hours. Mean temperature, .49.5 deg. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for eoutherly w’lnds, strong to gale and decreasing. The weather will probably be cold and changeable, with scattered showers, but later improving. There will probably be a hard frost to-night. Barometer rising. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER.
