IlornabrOok, the well-known colt r successfully defended ids title of Wairarapa champion by defeating the Kirk-Windoyer Cup player, T. 11. Horton, In the final of the championship event at the Masterton Golf Club’s annual tournament. llornahrook outplayed Horton and won 5 and 4 to play, taking 55 strokes to Horton’s 60 for the 14 holes played. Horton’s putting was below its usual form and he took 42 putts on IS greens. v ________
