When walking on the Groat South Road, near Papatoetoe, Mr Walter Fowler, aged 35, of Papatoetoe, was struck by a service car and killed. YOUNG WOMAN INJURED. AUCKLAND, Tlnirsday. A compound fracture of the rigid leg was received by Miss E. 11. Blerrc. aged about 22, when she was knocked down by a motor-ear.
