THE GENERAL HOLIDAY.
HAMILTON ATTRACTIONS. SHOW AND WINTER PASTIMES. Hamilton will have several attractions to offer holiday-makers to-mor-row. There is usually a large attendance of the public at the last day of the Waikato Winter Show and tomorrow the big exhibition is bound to be accorded wide patronage. Visitors from many parts of the province are expected to arrive by train and motor for the representative Rugby match between Auckland and Hamilton at Rugby Park to-morrow afternoon. Matches in l connection with the Technical Old Boys reunion will also be played. At Steele Park over 38 teams will meet in 90 games in connection with the seven-a-side hockey tournament. Followers of Association football will find interest in matches at Seddon Park between teams representing Onehunga and Hamilton Wanderers. The usual showweek tournament at St. Andrews is expected to draw a wide entry or golfers.
The leading attraction outside Hamilton will be the opening of the Auckland Racing Club’s Whiter meeting at Ellerslie.
