PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The Mayor, Mr R. Coulter, presided at the annual meeting of the Te Aroha branch of the Plunket Society. The balance-sheet showed £153 13s in hand for the Te Aroha centre, £42 18s lid for the Waihi branch, and 16s Id for Paeroa. The eleotion of officers resulted: — President, Mrs F. W. Wild; vice-pre-sidents, Mesdames J. A. Hepburn and F. I. Hunt; secretary, Mrs J. M. Hair; treasurer, Mrs McGirr; auditor, Mr N. M. Pryde; hon. solicitor, Mr G. H. Nioholls; advisory board, Drs. W. R. Lawrenoe and Gordon Cook, Messrs Pierson, Hunger and R. Coulter; committee, Mesdames Montgomery, H. Flay, senr., H. Flay, junr., Clarke, Palliser,/. Readhead, Mays, F. W. Wild, J. Hepburn and F, I. Hunt.
