OHICHESTER’S FLIQHT. PLANE RECONDITIONED. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, May 31. A message from Lord Howe Island says Mr F. C. Chichester may resume his flight to Australia on Monday. His aeroplane has been reconditioned and is described as being as good as new. The airman lias named it Madame Elijah. The island girls helped him to make four new silver wings. HESTON TO NEWCASTLE. NON-STOP RACE. LONDON, May 30D. ICennard, with 30m 45s start, won a non-stop race from Heston to Newcastle, 254 miles, and received a trophy and £IOO. Miss Winifred Brown was third and Miss Amy Johnson fifth.

Captain Srott who is making a (light from England to Australia and back left Calcutta yesterday on the return journey. He passed over Allahabad this morning and is probably proceeding to Jodphur.
