I THE HAMILTON CLUB.
! MEETING ON JUNE 6. .The Hamilton Club will hold its 1 opening stake‘'of the season on June G. I It is very r pleasing to note that many | young enthusiasts’are taking up the I sport, which should go a long way to popularise it. The ladies are very ably represented by a keen enthusiast in Miss Moore, who was successful in winning a stake last year with- her dog Ivia. Ora. Air T. Brown intends racing a maiden by Hurricane —Our Lassie. 1 lie also has several fine pups of the same breeding. ! Air N. Vernall has procured Tempest, a well-bred dog. An ardent adherent of coursing in Air C. Crowley', who was so successful with Beau Geste, will have several dogs racing this year, and it shall be no surprise if lie tops the winning list. A new follower of the sport in Air R. Lawrence, of Tamaherc, has.a very promising'maiden dog which lie procured from the South Island. Air E. Smith intends starting a racy-
looking candidate, at present unnamed, later in the season. Waikato owners should be well represented at the Australasian Waterloo meeting in July. : t The two dogs owned by Mr Quinn, of Hamilton East, are.doing well, and should race well when they mature.
