TEACHER’S DISMISSAL.
APPEAL TO EDUCATION BOARD. PETTY (JEALOUSIES ALLEGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Friday. The appeal of Miss C. R. Phillips against her dismissal by Hie Wanganui Education Board was continued to-day. The applicant contended that no school could have been happier for two years and a-'half, and the children made good progress. She Inferred petty jealousies among three people who had no children at the school, and contended that the inquiry loading to her dismissal was out of all proportion to (he, little, trouble that arises at any countrv school through the children carrying tales. She contended also that her appeal was not one against dismissal from Hanglwahla, hut her dismissals for the past 10 years,
