GARGLING PARADE.
TROOPS KEEP AWAY 'FLU. Gargling by numbers is a new exercise carried out by men of the Ist Battalion Welch Regiment at Gosport, Hampshire, to chase away influenza germs. It'is-as follows: On the word “One” the man seize, a glass smartly with the right hand, keeping the left at the side with thumb in lino with the seam of the trousers. *i On the word “Two” he raises the glass to his lips, taking in the desired quantity of the gargle. On the word “Three” he throws his head backward, breathes out gently, and gargles. \
