INDUCTION OF MINISTER. GATHERING AT TE AROIIA. Before a \cry large congregation the Rev. A. 11. Kowles was inducted as minister of the Te Aro'ha .Melhodisi Church, in succession to Ihe Rev 11. ,1. udell, Iransl'errcd to Wellington. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. Wills, the new minister being presented by .Messrs .1. A. Clothier aud C. F. • Horn, circuit stewards. The Rev. Wills congratulated Rev. Fowles on his appointment, and wished him ‘happiness In his new sphere of labour. Mr C. F. Horn extended a warm welcome to the 'Rev. and Mrs Fowles, and assured them of the loyal cooperation of the church members. In reply Rev. Fowles said lie entertained high hopes for Ids ministry in the district. \ welcome social in Wesley Hall followed, an enjoyable time being spent by a large assemblage.
