PRESENTATION
AT HILLCREST SCHOOL. Miss A. E. Peart, who has acted as mfant mistress at the Ilillcrest School since the beginning of 1930, was recently tendered by the parents, pupils and ; staff a farewell afternoon at-the school. The chairman of the committee (Mr E. M.-Masters), in making the presentation of, two leather-bound volumes of Galsworthy’s works, spoke of the goodwill and esteem with which Miss Peart was universally regarded. Tho headmaster (Mr Campbell Boyle) said Miss Peart’s association h&d been 'a very happy one from the school’s point of view and the regret at her pending departure was of the most genuine kind. On behalf of Last year’s P. 3 Miss Ilene King handed Miss Peart a handsome bouquet of roses. In responding Miss Peart voiced her affeotion for the school, from which she would carry away the pleasantest of memories.
