LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour, M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather:—' Barometer. Friday 30.35 Saturday .... 30.45 Thermometer. Max. Min. Friday 71.0 50:0 The barometer has very little movement and reads 30.45. 1 Continued fair weather is indicated during the next two days, with seasonable temperature, winds from a southerly direction; cooler nights. Mean temperature, 60.5 deg. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for northerly winds, moderate to strong, but freshening.
