PERSONAL
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, arrived at Rotorua yesterday. . The visit is unofficial. Their Excellencies intend to dc some fishing. Lord and Lady Baden-Powell will both observe their birthdays on the same day, to-morrow. Their Honours, Sir Alexander Herdman and Mr Justice Smith, are in Hamilton. The Minister of Justice, Hon. J. G. Cohbe, was in Hamilton to-day. He officiated at the opening of the 'new Courthouse this afternoon. Rev. G. N. Garlick, of Morrinsville, is on holiday in Auckland. Mr F. Lye, M.P., was in Hamilton this afternoon. Among the judges appointed for the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Show are:—Draught horses, Mr S. R. Grant, Te Kauwhata; Ayrshire cattle, Mr C. Watt, Cambridge; sheep (Southdown, Shropshire, Suffolk, Ryeland and English Leicester), Mr J. Martin, llototuna.
