RACE DECLARED OFF. (By Telegraph,—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. Light and variable winds and calms were responsible for the Auckland boat Avalon not registering a win in the third race for the Sanders Cup. She was 300 yards from the finishing line when the time limit expired, and the race was called off.
