FETE TO BE HELD. ANNUAL FUNCTION ON MARCH 7. In the past the Whiliora School have held an annual fete early in March, and these functions have always been keenly looked forward to. There was a meeting held in ttie Whiliora School last night to decide whether, in view of the Hawke’s Bay disaster, it would he wise to hold Hie fete this year. The meeting was very well attended, Mr Garrick Nisbet. chairman of the School Committee, presiding. It was unanimously decided lo hold the l'ele on March 7, half the proceeds to be given to the earthquake relief fund. All previous functions have been very successful, and judging from the enthusiasm of the many people interested in the school, this -year’s occasion should eeliuse all others.
