LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour, M, Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather:— Thermometer. Max. Min. Tuesday 69.0 48.0 Wednesday 75.0 48.0 Barometer. Wednesday .. 30.20 Thursday 30.25 Barometer, 30.25, with a rising tendency. Generally fair weather may be expected to-day and tomorrow, seasonable temperatures and light southerly winds. Mean temperature, 61.5 deg. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for moderate northerly winds. There is a prospect of fair weather with increasing haze and cloudiness. Barometer little movement but has a falling tendency. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER.
