STOP PRESS NEWS
Following I heir arrest after being held by a naval petty officer at the fire in Hobson Street, Auckland, on Monday evening, two seamen, Godfrey .fobn Green, aged 22, and Owen Mulholland, aged 2a, appeared in the Police Court at Auckland yesterday. Accused were charged with, stealing /Ac pairs of ladies’ shoes, valued at the property of the A'orlhorn Hoof and Shoe Company. Both pleaded not guilty. Accused were remanded until Friday on bail of £2.j each.
