BOY’S SUICIDE DIARY.

“ eternal TIREDNESS.” A diary written by a boy just before he took his life was read at an inquest at Scarborough on Henry Isaac Poyser, aged 17, son of a wool merchant, of Sheepscar, Leeds. The boy was found drowned in the sea. Extracts from the diary, which was found in the boy’s clothing, ran:— Christmas Eve; save all money; go to Scarborough by train. On Wednesday commit suicide 'by going through the railings on Marine Drive at high tide. Smoke in train. Five shillings, roughly, for smoking on suicide trip to Scarborough. JI- Poyser, December 24, J 930, aged J 7, committed suicide. Reasons—no prospect—eternal tiredness, excessive morbidness, ultra-super excessive nervousness. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was recorded.
