THE AVEY CUP. lIUNTLY v. NGARUAWAHIA. Teams from the Huntly and Ngaruawahia Bowling Clubs competed for Ihe Avey Cup at Huntly with the following result, Huntly names being mentioned first: Turton, Douglas, Edgar, George, 20, v. Rawson, Avey, Biewden, Kelly, 11. J. Holland won the Huntly Bowling Club’s progressive pairs competition for the skips and F. Hyde was successful among the leads.
NGARUAWAHIA OLUB. Percentage fours were continued on the Ngaruawahia green on Saturday Owing to the absence of several players two pairs matches were played to count in both sections. Re suits: — ~.
