AT FRANKTON YARDS. PIG QUOTATIONS FIRMER. There was a heavy yarding of beef, a good yarding of sheep and a full yarding of pigs at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards to-day. Beef was on a par with last week’s quotations and sheep were a shade firmer. Pig quotations showed an increase. Up to the lime of going to press the auctioneers quote as under:—• G. W. Vercoe and Company, Ltd., quote: Medium weight bullocks, £9 to £9 lbs; lighter do., £7 12s Gd to £8 15s; fat cows, £5 7s Gd to £6 ss; lighter fat cows, £3 19s to £5 ss; fat wethers, 10s 5d to 11s 3d; fat lambs, 13s Id to 15s. Baconers, £2 5s to £2 7s; porkers, 37s 6d to £2 2s. Loan and Mercantile Company. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., quote: Medium weight bullocks, £8 5s to £9 11s; lighter do., £6 to £6 14s; fat cows, £3 15s to £4 8s; lighter do., to £2 ss; fat wethers, 9s Id to ils sd; fat lambs, 93 to 10s Gd.
