.T. Lewis, of the East, Melbourne Harriers, won I lie 50 miles walking championship of the Victorian Amateur Walking Club recently in Stirs 58min 7sec. An Australian writer says Hie winner smashed all previous Victorian, Australian and New Zealand records from 32 to 50 miles.
