CARS AND PEDESTRIANS. A MOTORIST’S FEARS. , (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. . Mr G. C. Wilson, sales manager of the motor car department of Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co 1 ., Ltd., with his wife, had just returned from a run down to Port Ahuriri, along the Marine. Parade, when the quake occurred, and the hill came down, missing them by about 40 yards. Mr Wilson knew, that two cars were following his, and these, be says, must be buried, and also some pedestrians who were walking on the footpath.
