GIRLS’ HOSTEL.
END OF YEAR CONCERT. The girls of the High School Hostel gave a very delightful musical programme on Wednesday evening, when they entertained many friends at Sonning, River Road. Miss Tizard received the guests, and wore a frock of black satin beaute banded'in hyacinth blue. The programme was:—Song, “'School Song,” composed by Miss Griffiths; pianoforte solo, “Merry Rambling" (Sartorio), N. Pratt; pianoforte duet, “ Remembrance ” (Reber), E. and J. Saxton; trio, “Shepherd’s Song,” B. Dodd, B. Hunter, P. Ray; pianoforte solos, "Rondo” ( Hayden 1, M. Baldwin; “To a Water Lily” (McDowell), M. Thomas; song, “Harvest Home,” choir; pianoforte solos, Largo (Handel), M. Voyce; “Albumblatt” (Beetlioven), M. Dodd; song, “E Pari Ra,” M. Mandeno, T. K'ng, I. Hickey, B. Hunter, M. Arthur, P. Ray; pianoforte solos, “Mermaid’s Song” (Weber), T. Burgess; Prelude in C Minor (Chopin), M. Chamberlain; song, “The Little Grey Bonnet,” M. Thomas, M. McGovern, N. Pratt, G. Kent, G. Darrow’, E. Brownlie; pianoforte solos, Minuet in G (Beethoven), S. Ryburn; “Liebesfreud” (Kreisler), C. Ray; song, “Polcara Kare,’ J M. Mandeno, T. King, I. Hickey, B. Hunter, M. Arthur, P. Ray; poi dance, Truda King; pianoforte solos, Scherzo in B (Moller), U. Thomas; Nocturne, B. Turkington; song, “Fair Shines the Moon,” choir.
