MORRIMSVILLE CLUB. CLOSE OF THE SEASON. At the official closing of the Morrinsville Golf Club’s season there was a large attendance - of members. Prizes won during the season were presented by the club captain (Mr T. J. Ryan), who in doing so apologised for the absence of the president (Mr F. W. Seifert). The season had been the most successful the club had experienced, and the course had been greatly improved. He congi’atulated the prize-winners, who were as follows:—Men’s competitions: Senior championship, R. Dodd; runner-up, A. F. Ensor; junior championship, D. T. Davies; runner up, H. Turner. Canadian foursomes, best two medals, secret time, P. Petry. Flag match, aggregate bogey, E. Jackson, Fourball, best-ball, A. Needham and M. McLean. Medal round, D. T. Davies. Bogey match, A. F. Ensor; One club match, N. Ross; Canadian tournament* A. J. Mueller. Die-hards’ Cup, ffi. J. Ryan; Mixed foursomes, T. J. Ryan and Mrs Mueller. Ladies’ competitions: Ladles’ championship, Miss D. Lowry; runner-up, Miss B. McNaughton. May eclectic match, Miss Scales; June bogey match, Mrs .T. J. Ryan; July flag match, Miss Seales; June bogey and medal handicap, Miss Lowry; secret nine, Miss L. Strevens. Wallace Cup, Miss T. Hewitt. American tournament, Mrs Ryan. Mrs Jackson’s trophy, Miss M. Strevens. Miss Hewitt’s trophy, Mrs H. Howie. Miss Lowry's trophy, Miss Donny.
