£5,000,000 AT 44 PER CENT. UNDERWRITTEN IN LONDON. . RUSH FOR PROSPECTUSES. (Received Nov. 5, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 4. A South African £5,000,000 44 per cent loan which is being issued at 924, redeemable in 1955-75, has been underwritten. These are the best terms South Africa has.obtained since 1914. The rush for prospectuses at the bank’s offices necessitated the applicants queuing up.
