Two planes and six'men lost in northern British Columbia, are the subject of the extensive search staged by a fleet of planes, co-operating with six Government fisheries patrol vessels. Captain E. J. Burke, of Vancouver, was flying with two prospectors to the Liard Mining post, when he disappeared on October 12. Captain Pat Reuhahan, of Vancouver, with tw’o mechanics, hopped off to search for the plane and occupants on October 28. They vanished after leaving Prince Rupert. The coast' has been shrouded jin fog for a fortnight. Government vessels are systematically sweeping the whole coast. Captain Burke and his companions, it is feared are dead, as, if alive they could have reached civilisation easily in the time that, has elapsed.
