IN A TATTERSALL’S CONSULTATION * AN ANXIOUS YOUNG MAN. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) - CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The result of the Melbourne Cup race to-morrow is being awaited with keen interest by a'young Christchurch man, Mr Vincent Major, who has drawn Phar Lap', the favourite, in a Tattersall’s £SOOO consultation. It is reported that a number of people are willing to give him £IOOO for his chance, but he prefers to hold on to the ticket.
