LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour, M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather:— Thermometer. Max. Min. Monday 66.00 45.00 . Barometer. Mean temperature 55.5 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for westerly to southerly winds, moderate to strong. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable, with scattered showers. Barometer unsteady.
