Misses Evelyn and Irene Scherer leave Auckland to-morrow by the Niagara on a holiday to Europe, via Australia.
'Private advice was received by last week’s overseas mail that Miss Vera Moore, the talented New Zealand p-ianiste, intends leaving shortly for Paris, where she will reside in future.
Mrs De Venny McGarrigle is at present staying at Devonport.
Miss M. Allen, the former captain of the Morrinsville Girl Guides, in view of her approaching marriage, was the recipient of a set of guest towels, worked in the patrol emblems, from the Morrinsville Company.
