MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE.
OWNER OF LORRY ACQUITTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. In the Supreme Court Thomas Evered Steel was acquitted on 3 charge of manslaughter, arising out of a fata] motor accident. Accused was the owner of a motor lorry driven by Frederick James Craik, who was fined yesterday for negligent driving -and causing .death.
