ABOUT MANY THINGS. Dear Peter Pan, —I have a darling little lamb for my pet this year. She has little black knees and feet. I call her Twinkletoes. Sometimes I put up hurdles and Twinkletoes jumps them. next time i write to you 1 will send a C.C.C. present. Did you feel the earthquake last Friday I, did, and shook my big brother because I thought It was a motor car coming up our hill to our house. When will the compositions begin again? The Christmas competitions will start in about a fortnight.—Peter Pan. A TRIP TO GLEN MASSEY. Dear Peter Pan, —On Sunday mummy and daddy took me to my Aunty May s. She lives at Glen Massey. The-, house is beautirul—all the window's and doors were leadlights, and sleeping porches were done with glass windows. There were play--rooms for the children to play in, and the kitchen had a big safe and the sink was all 'tiled. Then we went and sat on tho veranda and talked. Then we had our afternoon tea. We played -the gramophone for a wee w'hile. When we were coming home we got some pretty flowers. My Aunty May gave me a little puppy named Ponto. Ponto Is grow'llng now. We have two little twin lambs and 37 chickens. Their mothers are very proud of them.—Zena Duck, Orlni. The house you visited sounds ever so nice. And how good of Aunty May to give you Ponto.
