CONSOLATION BOGEY HANDICAP. The competition at St. Andrews on Saturday was a bogey handicap open only to members who had not won a club competition this season. The best card returned was that of A. T. Atkins, 4' up, the next in order being Hogben (2 up), Blaclde (all square), Wake, McFarland and Pemberton (1 down)

junior Championship.
The final of the junior grade championship, over a 36-hole course, was played at the week-end. The finalists were A. W. Beveridge and W. -Gann, and after a good match in which the leadership altered several times the game eventually ended In favour of Beveridge, 4 up and 3.
MID-CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIP. , ASHBURTON, Monday. At the Mid-Canterbury golf tournament during the week-end the junior title was won by G. G. Bonnington (Ashburton), 168, with W. Hedges (Ashburton), 170, runner-up Thirty-eight competed. The weather is wet for the senior championship to-day.
