POLLING REPORTED BRISK. i PARTIES WORKING EARNESTLY. COUNTRY MEMBER UNOPPOSED. (Received Oct. 25, 2.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 25. The weather is tine and cool for the elections, though rain is later predicted. Voters were early astir, and polling was brisk in the forenoon, all the parties' supporters working earnestly. Mr Budd (Country Party, North Byron) was the only one returned unopposed. Of the other 89 electorates 70 are contested by three or more candidates.
