The fourth stage to Shepparton in the Sydney-Melbourne cycle race resulted : Nicholson 1 Thomas 2 Lamb 3 Opperman ■ 4
The Frenchman Bidot collapsed upon crossing the finishing line, and it is doubtful whether he will continue, the race. Ilis countryman, Mauclair, is now leading in aggregate time, holding an advantage of 9£ minutes over Bidot and Opperman.
