Incited by Communists, about 100 unemployed men and youths raided a bakery at Brunswick and stole about 30 large loaves of bread. Fifteen hundred unemployed marched through the principal streets to the city and demonstrated outside Parliament House. Hoots and jeers greeted the calling for cheers for Messrs Scullin and Hogan.
