VISIBLE IN HAMILTON. The sun, partially eclipsed, was observed by many people in Waikato this morning. Commencing about fe.22 the shadow of the moon could he seen quite distinctly through smoked glass, across the lower portion of the solar disc. . . , The maximum phase occurred about 9.23 a.m., when slightly less than hall the sun’s diameter was obscured. The final stage of the eclipse oo curred at 10.30 a.m.
