LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour, M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather: — Thermometer. Max. Min. Monday 63.00 42.00 Tuesday 64.00 46.00 Barometer. Monday ...... 29.80 Tuesday ..... 29.75 Barometer fallingly slowly, and now reads 29.75. Partly fair and partly overcast weather may be expected to-day and to-morrow with higher, temperatures, and light variable winds, together with occasional showers. The rainfall for the previous 24 hours amounts to 0.14 points. Mean temperature 55 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for variable and moderate breezes. Dull weather with much mist and fog in parts, scattered - showers or misty rain may be expected. Barometer, little movement. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER.
