ACCIDENT ON FIELD.
PROMINENT FOOTBALLER INJURED . MATANGI, Monday. Painful injuries were sustained by Mr Eric Shaw, the well-known Matangi footballer, and secretary to the local Rugby Club, as the result of 'being kicked on the leg during the progress of the Cambridge-Morrinsville match on the square at Cambridge. Whilst the extent of Mr Shaw’s injury has not been definitely ascerItained, it will probably prevent him from taking the field again during this season.
