EGG-LAYING CONTEST.

AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. SINGLE PENS AND TEAMS. SIXTEENTH WEEK’S RESULTS. The 16th week of the Auckland Poultry-keepers’ Association’s contest ended on Sunday, which also marks the completion of the winter test. The White Indian Runner ducks again have the honour of highest score for the whole contest, Thos. McKay’s team scoring 397 eggs. The best score for the whole of the hens goes to the Black Orpingtons, F. W. Lusby’s team producing 345 eggs, and the best in the light breeds to the White Leghorns, Geo.
