TYPHOON IN JAPAN

A typhoon, the most severe for a decade, swept Kyushiu this morning. Communications are disrupted. It is believed that tremendus damage has been done, and there is a heavy deathroll. The typhoon proceeded to Korea, where devastating floods continued. A village was buried in a landslide, 50 being killed, adding to the already enormous losses of life and property.
