PETER PAN’S LETTER.

“ The ivay to be happy oneself is to make others happy.”

TYEAR GIRLS AND BOYS, — a shadow has been oast over the country this week by the death of our late Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. He was a great politician and served his country well, so that his death will be felt throughout tho Dominion, and mourned by all. Ugh! What cold days we have been having! And the rain last weekend was tremendously heavy. Peter Pan thought that it would go on for ever. Many parts of the Waikato have been flooded In consequence and qultq an amount of damage must have been done. We hope that none of our Circle members suffered from the floods. How glad we are to have our 1100th. membership mark reached now. It would be ever so jolly to reach the 1500th. mark before Christmas, but I don’t suppose that would be possible. We have sent books to the lucky 1099th., 1100th., and 1101st. members. Waikato people had no luck with the Art Union draws, had they? It would be a very pleasant surprise for one of you to wake up and find yourself a winner, wouldn’t It? No more news. Goodbye for this week,

Peter Pan
